Whether you are new to ATS, contemplating a return after a break or just curious to learn about this fusion bellydance style, come out for a free 90 minute sampler to check things out. You must pre-register as space is limited. See "contact us" page to register.

“Fun with Dance Props-summer edition 2026”.
Come and explore bellydance with sword (and zills) and bellydance with tambourine. We will learn/review and practice a variety of slow and fast moves from the Sacred Sword (single and double sword) and Moon (tambourine) dialects based on the American Tribal Style (ATS/FCBD) style.
Five (5) instruction/practice sessions of 90 minutes will be offered at the John G. Mlacak Community Centre (Hall A), 2500 Campeau Dr., Kanata, on Sundays: June 14, July 12 and 26 and August 9 and 23, all from noon-1:30 PM. Free parking and access to EV charging stations.
Fee: $150. for the session. Since these sessions are progressive in nature, drop-in (pro-rated rates) will not be offered.
International (World) Dance Day - April 29: promoting art and culture and raising public awareness regarding the art of dance.

Every year, we pull out all stops and dress up in our performance dance gear, to strut our stuff. We select a colourful bird species, and reflect those colors in what we wear. Always a lot of fun!
